Abstract | The extraction mechanism of uranium( VI) from sulfuric acid media by primary amine N-1923 is investigated. The suggestion that the ammonium salt forms the reversed micelle or microemulsion due to aggregation is proved by infrared spectra and TEM images. The extraction compound exists mainly in the reversed micelle pseudophase. This mechanism can be used for explicating the experimental results, which can not be explained by the conventional slope method. |
