AbstractReal-time optical monitoring of the electron-transfer process was achieved and modulated on individual gold nanoparticles functionalized with graphene. We found that charge accumulation on single gold nanorods (GNRs) depends on the rate of Faradaic reaction, which is synchronized with double-layer charging.
